Eagle Consulting LLC

Nathan Elder is a cleared security infrastructure architect, former U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence Analyst (0231), and enterprise-level industrial security leader with over 11 years of experience operating in 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) regulated environments across defense, aerospace, intelligence, and high-growth technology sectors.

Nathan previously served as Corporate Facility Security Officer at Anduril Industries, one of the fastest-scaling defense technology companies in the world. In that role, he directly oversaw classified operations across three primary sites as well as multiple off-site locations. He was charged with expanding facility clearance (FCL) establishments, managing CAGE code growth, leading strategic compliance planning, governing DD254 execution, implementing scalable clearance processing systems, and mentoring junior FSOs as the organization rapidly expanded its classified footprint.

Before Anduril, Nathan supported NASA’s Management Office at JPL, U.S. Air Force and Space Force programs at Los Angeles Air Force Base, and complex Special Security Agreement (SSA) environments within global aerospace manufacturing. As Cybersecurity Officer at GKN Aerospace, he operated within FOCI-mitigated international structures, aligning industrial security governance with cybersecurity oversight across global operations.

Over the course of his career, Nathan has managed or overseen more than 100 cleared programs, spanning early-stage non-possessing startups to large-scale possessing facilities. His experience includes insider threat governance, secure facility builds, inspection defense strategy, clearance scaling infrastructure, DD254 lifecycle oversight, and executive-level compliance advisory.

Nathan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. His academic background, combined with operational intelligence experience and enterprise compliance leadership, positions him at the intersection of industrial security, cybersecurity governance, and scalable defense infrastructure strategy.

In 2023, Nathan founded Eagle Consulting to address a structural gap in the defense technology ecosystem: a scalable, growth-aligned industrial security advisory designed specifically for venture-backed and high-growth companies. Since its inception, the firm has rapidly grown into a multi-client advisory practice supporting cleared organizations across aerospace, AI, cyber, advanced manufacturing, and government services sectors across the United States.

Eagle Consulting partners directly with CEOs, COOs, and boards to design and modernize cleared security departments that enable revenue velocity rather than restrict it. The firm integrates NISPOM compliance, DCSA engagement strategy, insider threat governance, and emerging CMMC readiness frameworks into a cohesive, scalable compliance architecture built for long-term institutional maturity.
